Strategically located in the middle of the Mosel wine producing region, Bernkastel is one of the most charming villages of this Mosel Valley. Its location next to a northern valley slope makes it vineyards some of the most prized in the area.

Bernkastel is home to some of the most noted wine produces in the area.

Village of
Piesport

Basking in the sun, the famous Goldtrupfchen vineyards envelop the little village of Piesport on the north side of a sweeping horseshoe river curve. This slope has been long time prized for growing grapes. It was a major stop on the old Roman trade routes. Today, it lends its name to many popular Riesling wines produced throughout the area.
