Inspired by the Julie/Julia Project, a blog with the mission is to create the 524 recipes in Julia Child’s Mastering the Art of French Cooking in a mere 365 days.
Jacob August Riis (May 3, 1849 – May 26, 1914) was a Danish American social reformer, "muckraking" journalist and social documentary photographer. He is known for using his photographic and journalistic talents to help the impoverished in New York City; those impoverished New Yorkers were the topic of most of his prolific writings and photography.

Pendulum Waves
Fifteen uncoupled simple pendulums of monotonically increasing lengths dance together to produce visual traveling waves, standing waves, beating, and (seemingly) random motion.
I hold no grudge
There's no resentment underneath
I'll extend the laurel wreath and we'll be friends
But right there is where it ends
I hold no grudge
And I'll forgive you your mistake
But forgive me if I take it all to heart
And make sure that it doesn't start again
Yes, I'm the kind of people you can step on for a little while
But when I call it quits, baby that's it
I'm the kind of people you can hurt once in a while
But crawling just ain't my style
I hold no grudge
And deep inside me there's no regrets
But a gal who's been forgotten may forgive
But never once forget.
