Marching to Pretoria
The song "Marching to Pretoria" refers to the city located in the northern part of Gauteng Province, South Africa. The Beatles song, I Am the Walrus, opening line, "I am he as you are he as you are me and we are all together" is based on the song "Marching To Pretoria," which contains the lyric, "I'm with you and you're with me and we are all together." The song "Pretoria" is the same song Lord-Baden Powell would sing with his troops as they marched from place to place during the Boer Wars in Africa in the 1800's/early 1900's.

Marching to Pretoria

Sing with me, I'll sing with you
And so we will sing together
So we will sing together
So we will sing together
Sing with me, I'll sing with you
And so we will sing together
As we march along

Chorus:
Oh, we are marching to Pretoria,
Pretoria, Pretoria,
Oh, we are marching to Pretoria,
Pretoria, Hooray.

Dance with me, I'll dance with you
And so we will dance together
So we will dance together
So we will dance together
Dance with me, I'll dance with you
And so we will dance together
As we march along

Chorus:
Oh, we are marching to Pretoria,
Pretoria, Pretoria,
Oh, we are marching to Pretoria,
Pretoria, Hooray.

March with me, I'll march with you
And so we will march together
So we will march together
So we will march together
March with me, I'll march with you
And so we will march together
As we march along

Chorus:
Oh, we are marching to Pretoria,
Pretoria, Pretoria,
Oh, we are marching to Pretoria,
Pretoria, Hooray.

Drink with me, I'll drink with you
And so we will drink together
So we will drink together
So we will drink together
Sing with me, I'll drink with you
And so we will drink together
As we march along

Chorus:
Oh, we are marching to Pretoria,
Pretoria, Pretoria,
Oh, we are marching to Pretoria,
Pretoria, Hooray.

(Repeat chorus)

Hyfrydol
Hyfrydol
Hyfrydol is a Welsh hymn tune which appears in a number of Christian hymnals in various arrangements. Composed by Rowland Prichard in 1844, it was originally published in the composer's handbook to the Lutheran Hymnal Cyfaill y Cantorion ("The Singers' Friend"). Prichard composed this hymn tune before he was twenty years old.

Hyfrydol has a metre of 8.7.8.7.D (alternating lines of eight and seven syllables, other examples of which include Blaenwern and Abbot's Leigh). The best-known arrangement is probably that by Ralph Vaughan Williams, which he originally produced for his revision of the English Hymnal; Vaughan Williams also composed some variations on this theme. In addition to its use as a hymn tune, "Hyfrydol" has been arranged for brass bands and other instrumental groups.

In many Unitarian Universalist churches, the tune is well known as "BLUE BOAT HOME" with words by singer Peter Mayer.

This is not an optical illusion

This is not an optical illusion
The nail passes through a hole in the two center "teeth" of the wooden block. It's more-or-less in the center, parallel to the long axis of the block - not at a significant angle.
The nail is a normal carpentry item that has not been modified in any way (not cut and reassembled).
The wood is normal wood; the three notches were cut in a solid block of wood before the nail was inserted. The wood has not been broken apart or glued together.
How was this done? See if you can puzzle out the method before viewing the solution in the video below. Credit to the Steve Ramsey at Woodworking for Mere Mortals.
