Pancake Syrup

Centennial Cookbook 1987 -- Bruning, Nebraska

1 cup white corn syrup
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup water
pinch salt
maple flavoring

Stir together syrup, sugars, water and salt.  Slowly bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.  Boil 5 minutes.  Add maple flavoring to taste.  Makes a little over a pint.
