Fudge Pudding Cake I

1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
2 cup water
12 marshmallows
1 devil's food cake mix
1 cup broken nuts

In a 18x9x2 pan, mix the brown sugar and cocoa. Stir in  the  water  until  well blended.  Snip  the  marshmallows  into quarters  and scatter  over  this mixture.  Spoon  over  this mixture prepared  devil's  food  cake batter. Top with 1 c. broken nuts. Bake at 350ºF for 45-50 minutes. Serve with whipped cream.

Fudge Pudding Cake II

In the bottom of a 9 x 13" cake pan, sprinkle and mix together with a fork:
     1/2 cup dry cocoa powder
     1 cup brown sugar

Chocolate cake mix
1 1/3 cups water
3 eggs
1/2 cup vegetable oil


Pour over:
      2 cups water
      mini marshmallows to cover
Mix chocolate cake mix according to package. Pour over mixture in pan. Bake according to cake mix directions (350º F)(may take about 10 minutes longer) -- about 1 hour. A few marshmallows may peek through to the top, and a rich pudding forms at the bottom. Serve slightly warm with whipped cream or whipped topping.
