This Cranberry Salad was a tradition at our family Thanksgiving dinners in Colorado. Recipe from mother, Mildred Kramer. The walnuts were not part of mom's original recipe, but I like the texture.
Dissolve gelatin in hot water, set aside to cool. Put raw cranberries and orange through food chopper (course blade) add sugar and mix will, when JELL-OŽ begins to thicken fold in pineapple and cranberry-orange mixture, set aside to chill until firm. |
