1 medium head of cabbage, coarsely
shredded
2 carrots, shredded
2 teaspoons caraway seed
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup vinegar
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup chopped red onions
salt to taste
