Bacon Wrapped Water Chestnuts

16 oz. can whole water chestnuts
1 lb. bacon
1 cup ketchup
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon chili pepper

Cut bacon into halves. Wrap around water chestnut. Secure with picks. Bake at 325° F for 20 minutes on a rack. Mix ketchup , sugar, and pepper. Dip each water chestnuts into sauce and return to rack. Back for 20 minutes long.
