Avis Marcella Wagner was born in 1906 at Stockton, Utah.  Her parents, James Wagner and Edna Henry died as she was entering into her teenage years.  Her mother's sister Ida Mangan took in Avis and her sisters Norma and Zora to live with the family in Kimball, Nebraska.
        The Mangan house in Kimball was Avis's home until she left for college in Kearney, Nebraska.  She married Roy Bader in 1934 and farmed in the Burlington, Colorado area until his death in 1961. In 1969, she married John 

Schritter and live in Burlington until her death in 1991. She was very interested in gardening, local history and family genealogy.
        Avis had no children to carry her story and legacy.  Many of her family photos were given to Nathan Krämer, a grandchild of her second husband.  This website is established to present these materials in hope they might be beneficial to others researching the same family lines.
