Pecan Pie or Walnut Pie

This recipe was taken from the Karo® corn syrup label. Walnuts make a good alternative for pecans. I also like to use the filling for tarts. --NKrämer
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 cup light or dark corn syrup
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2	cups pecans or walnuts
Pie Crust Pastry

Prepare pie crust pastry (single crust). In large bowl, combine first 6 ingredients until well blended. Stir in pecans. Pour into pie crust. Bake in 350°F oven 50 to 55 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean. Cool.
