Volunteers/Ambassadors   http://www.omahaperformingarts.org/car_ambassador.asp

The Ambassadors are a volunteer organization that supports Omaha Performing Arts Society, the Orpheum Theater, and the soon to open Holland Performing Arts Center.  Ambassadors provide patrons with quality customer service and help create a positive performance experience.  Ambassadors also provide valuable services as greeters, ushers, gift shop, information aides and tour guides.

Ambassadors play a large role at the Orpheum Theater. They get to know our patrons on a more personal level. All that is needed is a time commitment and a love of people and the theatre.

Who are the Orpheum Ambassadors?

Omaha’s great and majestic Orpheum Theater requires more than 50 people to handle the lobby or “Front of House” activities for each and every performance!

  • Greeters
  • Ushers
  • Box Office Assistants
  • Coat Checkers
  • Ticket Takers
  • Door Guards
  • Merchandisers
  • Safety Personnel
  •

The Orpheum’s Ambassadors are a group of enthusiastic volunteers who serve in these various capacities at each of the 170+ annual events in Omaha’s most ornate and elegant venue.  Led by a professional House Manager, the Ambassadors are truly just that - ambassadors – representing the entertainers, the theater, and in a larger sense, Omaha.
